A - MAJORITIES

Origin: The big race was discovered(found) by 1880 in Chile, at the Indians Araucans.

The dwarf is native of United States.

EGGS to be smouldered: 25 grams; colour of green has blue, mostly mix two.

Diameter of rings: COCK 14, HEN 12

Ideal mass: Cock: 700 grams; Hen: 650 grams

B - TYPE AND POPULAR PURPOSE

Dwarfish hen without tail with a fighter's light character. Quiffs of ears formed with feathers going back up(raising) on each side of the head and getting loose sharply from that this, carried(worn) with a fleshy appendix.

C - STANDARD

COCK

BODY: rounded off well, raised(found) port(bearing).

NECK: Means, wide feathers of the camail.

BACK: average, wide Length in shoulders.

BREAST: Wide, averagely rounded off.

BELLY: developed well.

WINGS: Carried(worn) horizontally and squeezed(tightened) in the body: not exceeding this one.

TAIL: Lack.

HEAD: Average, round skull; on every side a bouquet of fortifying feathers, in connection with mumps, tolerated favourites(whiskers).

CREST: In pea, irregular, slightly unstable shape.

BARBILLONS.: little developed.

EYES: Burning, red with orange-coloured red.

BEAK: short, strong, colour hooks bored; to white variety show and cuckoo, the yellow beak is tolerated.

THIGHS: strong, little visible.

TARSI: average Length, fine skeleton, smooth. Colour according to variety

HEN

Look like the cock by taking into account sexual differences.

D - COMPLEXION OF the PLUMAGE

GOLDEN VARIETY

Tarsi green willow. More or less supported accepted gold-coloured complexion. Breast slightly stained with brown tolerated to the cock.

VARIETY WHEAT

Tarsi green willow. All the nuances of the wheat are tolerated.

BLACK VARIETY

Tarsi greenish black. Colour intense black with green reflection.

VARIETY CUCKOO

Tarsi yellow greenish. A little red tolerated in the finery.

WHITE VARIETY

Tarsi yellow greenish. White creamy and light reflection straw tolerated.

E - GRAVE DEFECTS

Bony(jagged) and unrefined head. The other shape of crest. Mane in the camail. Vertebras of the tail too much developed. A little beard and favourites(whiskers) are tolerated but defective in case of too big development. Bother responsible for quiffs of ear is lethal in the homozygous state; as a consequence all Araucanas is heterozygous for this peculiarity. He is born so 1/4 of chicks not possessing this character which(who) must be eliminated and 1/4 of embryos dies in the egg.
