THE SPECIES
More than one hundred species or sub-species in this section. Cetain type are very rare inFrance, but the growth in exchanges between countries, understanding the countries of America, has allowed the French to breed and make offically recognised these rare species.
When a species is official recognised in Europe or simply in France, it is the official European or French standard which is taken into account but eventually a comentary of these species in other countries will be given in case of their standard being slightly different.
For species who were not exactly up to the standard in France, reference was made to the standard of Switzerland, Great-Britain and The United States of America.
For each species indicated with a user name in England and in Germany, The title "species-unknown" does not mean that the species is absolutely unknown, but it doesn't meet up with the official standard.
After the name of each species, there are two letters which indicate its abundancy in France. It is possible that for exmple, a Belgium species who woulde be relatively rare in France, is quite widesperad in its country of origin. Even cretain recent creations like the "meusienne" or Alsacienne bantam cuold become more abundant if they had success next to their breeders. As ofr the species totally unwnown to France, they can exist in other regions of the world.
