A - MAJORITIES

Origin : United States; the big race was approved in 1984, the dwarf a bit further.

EGGS to be smouldered: 40 grams, turquoise blue shell clearly.

Diameter of rings : COCK: 14 mm; HEN: 12 mm

Ideal mass : COCK: 950 grams; HEN 800 grams

B - TYPE AND POPULAR PURPOSE

This race was created in United States by the amateurs of poor and bluish eggs of colour in cholesterol which wanted to avoid inconveniences bound(connected) to the breeding of Araucana, in particular the lethal bother responsible for quiffs of ear. The améraucana is so a race without quiffs of ears but carrying(wearing) a strong beard trilobée. The flesh is fine and plentiful.

COCK

CREST : In pea, relatively small

BEAK : Hardly, bent well

FACE : hidden well by the favourites(whiskers)

EYES : rather big, meaning, red in all the variety show.

BARBS : Absentees

MUMPS : small, oval

BEARD : supplied well , rounded off, of average length, forming three separated well lobes, the important favourites(whiskers).

HEAD : wide, cubic.

NECK : Rather bent, of average length

CAMAIL : supplied well, covering shoulders.

BACK : Wide, of average length, slightly tilted behind.

TAIL : supplied well, with average length, carried(worn) in 45 °, arched well sickles.

WINGS : rather wide, carried(worn) slightly low but without hiding thighs.

BREAST : prominent, rounded off well.

BODY : Of average length, tight and raised(found) belly.

PAWS : Of average length, four separated well fingers. Of black colour with blue slate, the plant of feet remaining always white.

HEN

As the cock but by holding differences bound(connected) to the sex. Tail carried(worn) in 40 °, the first two rectrices slightly waisted.

The crest in pea is preferable but the triple crest is tolerated provided that it remains small.
